DAY 3 ISTANBUL: Visit the Spice Market then a cruise on the Bosphorus famous strait that separates Europe from Asia, by regular boat service. Disembark near the Black Sea then drive to the Asian side over the Bosphorus Bridge. After a sightseeing on the Asian side drive back to the European side to visit the Galata Tower with panoramic view over the old Istanbul then to the Grand Bazar. Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 4 ISTANBUL – KAYSERI – CAPPADOCIA: Transfer to the airport and fly to Kayseri. Visit the old fort in Kayseri and drive to Cappadocia, a region of uniquely spectacular geomorphology. Visit Goreme Valley where byzantine churches are decorated with frescoes. Drive to the red coned monastic complex of Zelve and visit to Uchisar. Overnight in Cappadocia. DAY 5 CAPPADOCIA: Visit the Underground City of Derinkuyu and the Ihlara Canyon. Explore the old Caravansary of Agzikarahan then visit the interesting town of Ortahisar with its old houses. Overnight in Cappadocia. DAY 6 CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – ANTALYA: Departure for Antalya with a stop in Konya to visit the Museum and Tomb of Mevlana, founder of the Whirling Dervish philosophy in the 13th century. In the afternoon, drive to Antalya over the scenic Toros Mountains. Overnight in Antalya. DAY 7 ANTALYA: Visit Perge and Aspendos. Perge has fine column lined streets and agora. The theatre at Aspendos is the best preserved of any in the Roman world. Visit the old Antalya including its old harbour, city walls, Fluted Minaret, Hadrian’s Gate, old houses and narrow streets. Overnight in Antalya. DAY 8 ANTALYA: A Mediterranean boat tour to Duden waterfalls and visit the old city of Phaselis. Overnight in Antalya. DAY 9 ANTALYA – PAMUKKALE: Departure for Pamukkale, visit the wonderful calcium terraces and the Roman city of Hierapolis with a unique Roman cemetery. Overnight in Pamukkale. DAY 10 PAMUKKALE – KUSADASI: Departure for Kusadasi, stop on the way to visit the ruins of Aphrodisias, the Roman city dedicated to Aphrodite. Overnight in Kusadasi. DAY 11 KUSADASI: Visit to Ephesus, was the capital of Roman Asia Minor and is now the best preserved classical city in the world. We will also visit the Archaeological Museum and the interesting mountain village of Sirince. Overnight in Kusadasi. DAY 12 KUSADASI – CANAKKALE: Visit to the Roman city of Pergamum with its impressive Temple of Trajan and the Roman healing center of Asclepion. Overnight in Canakkale. DAY 13 CANAKKALE – BURSA: Visit Troy with its legendary walls, buildings and wooden horse then drive to Bursa, first capital of the Ottoman Empire. Visit the Grand Mosque and the interesting Silk Bazar in Bursa. Overnight in Bursa. DAY 14: BURSA – ISTANBUL: Visit the Green Mosque and the tiled Green Mausoleum. We will cross the Gulf of Izmit by ferry then drive to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul. DAY 15: Transfer to the airport and flight back.

DAY 7 – 12 CRUISE FROM ANTALYA TO MARMARIS: What better way to relax than a six day “blue cruise” along the Mediterranean and the Aegean coasts on a private “gulet” which is a traditional turkish wooden boat, specially designed for coastal cruising. “Gulets” have accommodation for up to 16 people in double or twin bedded cabins (shower, hot water, large interior living room, kitchen, radio, electricity, deep freeze etc..) . You will have an experienced crew and a cook who will prepare the meals on board. “blue cruise” is a leisurely cove crawling affair in waters that are among the least spoilt left in the Aegean and the Mediterranean. You will be cruising in the turkish turquoise waters from Antalya to Marmaris. What makes this area special, apart from its fascinating reefs with their enormous diversity of marine life, is the sea itself which is warm, calm, clear and not subject to tides or currents. It is also lined with magnificent beaches and secluded bays.
